Orange Elixir — Lot 20 Orange CoFermentAfter sorting, cherries are added to the fermentation barrels alongside Koji culture and pulped oranges. The oranges are grown by the same farmers who bring their coffee cherries to Lot 20, providing them with an additional income stream. Under carefully monitored anaerobic conditions, the orange mix is fermented for 96 hours, being persistenly agitated to create the perfect environment for flavourful microbes to flourish.Espresso — A dense, full-bodied espresso with syrupy caramel sweetness and deep, velvety dark chocolate at it's core. Soft hints of toasted pecan add warmth, while a touch of orange lifts the finish, giving the cup a bright, lingering sparkle. Mystic Magiana — Andrea CostaThe land, sitting on fertile volcanic soils near Espírito Santo do Pinhal, is managed by Andrea Costa and her brother Luis and has been in the family since the 1960s.Red Catuai is the star of this lot. Cherries are left to ripen slowly before being sun-dried on stone patios for 14 days. Workers turn them hourly with wooden rakes, a simple but vital step that ensures an even, clean natural. Over time, Mogiana's winters have grown hotter and drier, and this is what gives the coffee its classic Brazilian sweetness.
